Which Documents Are Needed to Sell an Apartment
The documents most commonly required are a land registry extract (proof of ownership), an energy certificate, proof of the building's legal status (occupancy permit or certificate of as-built status) and the owner's ID card. If the apartment has not been registered as a separate unit or the ownership does not match the cadastre, we will help you find a solution before the buyer reaches the mortgage stage.
Property transfer tax is paid by the buyer, and the seller generally has no tax liability if they owned the property for more than two years or lived in it – we recommend checking your specific situation with a tax advisor.
